Weeknight social ride – Tuesday 5 August

ICC weeknight social ride – Tuesday 5 August 2025

The forecast for Monday evening is rubbish, with heavy rain and a high wind warning, but this looks to be clearing during the following day – so the next weeknight ride will be on Tuesday instead.

Tuesday’s ride starts from Culloden battlefield, following a clockwise loop to Ardersier, Delnies & Clephanton – around 25 miles.

The route can be viewed and downloaded for your bike computer here:

https://www.strava.com/routes/3381349923218098488

At this stage the forecast suggests that showers during Tuesday will ease off by the evening, but as always please keep an eye on the forecast and check the forum in case of last-minute updates.

To join the ride, please post below by 16:00 on Tuesday when the ride will be closed. Please be at the meeting point by 18:20 at the latest for an 18:30 start.

Please see the FAQ sticky post at the top of the Weekday Rides section of the forum for all other information, including what to bring with you and where exactly the meeting points are. If you’ve not been out with us before, or for a while, please make sure that you take a look through the FAQs before coming along.

See you there,

Mark

Edit to previous post…

Sorry, I’m not going to be able to go after all tonight. I hope I can catch up another night. I hope that causes no inconvenience.

Cheers,

John
