ICC Saturday Gravel ride – 15th June
Quote from Jo on 11 June 2024, 17:54This is the third of our monthly Saturday gravel rides, all welcome! Suitable for gravel, cyclocross and mountain bikes.
Meet at the Culloden Woods car park in time for a 9.30am start. Start location here https://maps.app.goo.gl/qjS5UiUQ5ZEJ87yu7
Planned route is linked below but can be adapted on the day depending on what the weather/conditions look like, but its currently looking favourable (if not warm!). This ride is a good mix of gravel trails in the woods and up on the moor, with some single track and lovely views, which come at the top of the hill which is a steady incline on mainly good gravel tracks. It’s a straightforward ride which feels like a real journey through the countryside. No one will be left behind. There are two café options – The Milk Barn at Croy (9 miles in) or Culloden Battlefield visitor centre (near the end of the ride) and a decision will be made on the day as to which to stop at (if not both!).
Here’s the planned route:

Please come prepared with appropriate kit, tools & spares, and post below if you are coming. Any questions let me know here or on the Gravel WhatsApp group.
Hope to see you Saturday!
Jo
